Kristin Fisher joined CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team on July 20, 2021. She covers everything, from NASA, the Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of Space Tourism. Kristin is the mother of two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up in the world of space and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. Also, she covered the 2020 presidential campaign as well as the efforts of two administrations to combat the coronavirus. She traveled extensively with both the Vice President and the President included an official trip to Afghanistan that she made together with Donald Trump. Before joining the network in, Kristin spent nearly a decade working her way up through local TV news markets which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in 2014. The company specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients, including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. Kristin is married to her daughter, and her three-year-old son in Washington, D.C.
